George Thomas Mansel is an American actor born in Daytona Beach, Florida. He was raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota before moving to Venice Beach, California where he has pursued formal training at acclaimed workshops including The Groundlings Theater, James Franco Studio 4, John Rosenfeld Studios, The Artist within & Film Technique, and Bernard Hiller Studios.
While he attended his basic education... Where George excelled was with his extensive range of trans-formative characters turning the hallways and classrooms into his stage. In return spending more time in detention or suspended than in class. To him the satisfaction came in making his fellow classmates laugh uncontrollably at his troublesome expense.
Georges extensive range has earned him roles in TV series including Sons of Anarchy (2008), The Office (2012), Drunk History (2013), American Crime Story (2016), and Feud (2017). His debut into film began with a cowboy role in American Sniper (2014), followed by playing the violent Roughhouse Ric in The Motherfucker (2015) and a cop in The Nice Guys (2016). Mansel's commitment to his craft and harrowing performances have brought forth a reputation deeming him "physically fearless." Recently, he has drawn attention for his roles in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019) and Deadwood (2019). He is currently slated for his breakthrough role of Lester Smith, a notrious member of the Dutch Wilder Gang in the highly anticipated feature Black Wood (2019).
Outside of performing, he loves the beach and all it has to offer. As a leader and well rounded team player he is working constantly on self-improvement and sharing any motivational, tips, tools, and knowledge to teammates, friends, and associates. His main goal is to make a mark in the world and to improve his craft with the best collaborators. He's also in the process of starting his own foundation and works closely with helping two causes close to his heart; United States Veterans & The Muscular Dystrophy Foundation.
